About Me
What inspires me?
Art has always been incorporated in my life since I can remember. My mother was a painter and started me off early at 2 with my first easel. Whenever I am stressed or upset I turn to art in order to express my emotions. I am inspired by the human figure and am fascinated by the complexity of each small detail.
My concentration concept: My concentration focuses on my personal experience with child abuse and expresses the emotions I felt at the time. Telling my story through art is meant to inspire others who are in similar situations. Each piece is based off photography I took and abstract portrayals of each emotion I am expressing. In all I aspire to make this a widespread project and community for the survivors of child abuse.
Technique: I am very focused on the techniques of realism. Pencil has always been my strong suit but the last couple years I have been branching out and experimenting with different techniques.
